Additional transient aircraft apron space, used for short term aircraft parking, will be needed by 2041. The Master Plan will evaluate options to support transient aircraft apron space for the future demand.
The Airport’s sole ARFF truck sits in a T-hangar at a sub-optimal location to respond to incidents. The Master Plan will assess the airfield and recommend a site for future ARFF/safety personnel and equipment.
A northwest land parcel, between Piper Lane and Observation Road, has been identified for future development opportunities. The Master Plan will evaluate development opportunities and recommend the most feasible location to support future demand while considering principles of airport sustainability.
